“Remember Me” is a community-centered art installation and reporting project that honors the lives of victims of unsolved homicides in St. Louis.
The work features six original portraits by local artist cbabi bayoc, inspired by a years-long investigation by St. Louis Public Radio, APM Reports and The Marshall Project into the more than 1,000 unsolved homicides in the city over the last decade.
These vivid illustrations depict each person as their families remember them: full of life, love and possibility.
Join us in celebrating the donation of this artwork to the Bursky School of Public Health at Washington University in St. Louis. The opening reception will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. on the garden level of Hillman Hall on the Danforth campus at WashU. Entry is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
