“Remember Me” is a community-centered art installation and reporting project that honors the lives of victims of unsolved homicides in St. Louis.

The work features six original portraits by local artist Cbabi Bayoc, inspired by a years-long investigation by St. Louis Public Radio, APM Reports and The Marshall Project into the more than 1,000 unsolved homicides in the city over the last decade.

Bayoc’s vivid illustrations depict each person as their families remember them: full of life, love and possibility.

After a rotating tour in galleries throughout the city, the portraits will be on display as the final show at UrbArts in Old North St. Louis. We invite you to join us for our opening night reception from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. There will be brief remarks at 6:15 p.m., and light refreshments will be served.

The portraits will be on view at UrbArts Galleries from Dec. 5, 2025, until Jan. 4, 2026. Gallery hours are Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and weekends upon request. Please contact Gregory Harris at Gregory@urbstetiks.org with any questions about off-hours viewing.

Note: If your family has experienced this kind of loss, we invite you to bring a small photo of your loved one to the gallery. We have set up a collection box and will display photos and notes in a living memorial.
