Former Audience Engagement Producer
he/they
I made videos for The Marshall Project on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. I adapted articles that my colleagues write, and I made videos based upon my own research and reporting as well.
In these videos, I’ve broken down topics like the death penalty and the criminalization of queerness.
Before I came to The Marshall Project, I worked on The Washington Post’s presence on TikTok and YouTube Shorts (now called Washington Post Universe).
My work has been recognized by the Webbys, the National Headliner Awards, the Online Journalism Awards and the Society of News Design.
I live in Chicago, I read a lot of comics and I speak just enough Spanish to appease my Cuban grandparents.
