Prison rights is an honorable issue to fight for, but I wish your article told us exactly what legislation proposal was being introduced so we could more easily raise awareness to our Senators about protecting PREA. I've heard the proposal referred to as the "Cornyn amendment." Here is a link to it. It was proposed as an amendment, not as a stand-alone piece of legislation, and is entitled "Protecting important funding for crime victims and law enforcement."
