I’m a former Dow Jones News Fund Data Intern who was working with and learning from the same data journalists who inspired me to enter this field. I’m usually entering numbers, staring at numbers, organizing numbers through code and helping turn said numbers into valuable stories.
My Background
I am a former Dow Jones News Fund data journalism intern working under The Marshall Project’s incredible data team.
I will soon enter my junior year at the University of Arkansas, where I study both multimedia journalism and criminology. There, I am the multimedia editor of The Arkansas Traveler and a videography intern for the Walton College of Business.
My first interaction with the justice system was at 10 years old, and since then, I’ve sought to examine the flaws of the system and highlight the very real people the system handles.
Outside of work, I speak broken Italian and play the drums (specifically jazz and funk. Sadly, no hard rock ‘n’ roll licks!).
