I edit and oversee the production of newsletters like Opening Statement, Closing Argument and our local newsletters, and I develop new newsletters. I also manage and edit News Inside, The Marshall Project’s print magazine circulated in prisons and jails.
My Background
I’ve had the opportunity to work in many different roles, in many different newsrooms. I’ve been a reporter, editor and manager, and I taught online journalism at the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. I was a founder of the newsletter and website Brooklyn Based, and I’ve written for The New York Times, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine and many others.
I live in southern Vermont with my husband, two children and 20-pound cat, who is, and this is true, a very handsome boy.
