I lead The Marshall Project's strategic efforts to deepen reporting that reaches communities most affected by the criminal legal system.
My Background
I rejoined The Marshall Project after serving as a senior editor of Slate's Jurisprudence section, where I led a team of writers covering the array of legal issues before the U.S. Supreme Court. Previously, I was a reporter for the Washington Post.
My award-winning work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian and USA Today, among other publications.
